So, it's been a couple of weeks since I discovered that John's tooth was loose. In fact, the permanent tooth was already growing in. We actually found out that it was loose because John was complaining about a pain in his gums. We saw the new one coming through just behind the original. It was wiggling a bit and everyone told me to ignore it and leave it alone. I was tempted to just push it out like my mother used to do when we were younger.
Anywho, John just kept playing with it and wiggling it when he had a chance. He was playing in the playground this afternoon when it popped out after a few wiggles. Can you believe it?? He's so excited to place his tooth under his pillow. The tooth fairy is going to make an appearance later tonight. Maureen thinks the tooth fairy will leave a Sacajawea dollar. We'll see if that comes true.
