As everyone knows, Papi loves his bread. He really, really loves french bread in particular. The boys seem to take after their grandfather in this respect. They both insist on picking up at least one loaf of french bread at the market. A couple of weeks ago, Maureen went to the Miracle Mile Farmer's Market and picked up two fresh loaves of bread. She was so excited to bring them home and was going to freeze one after getting instructions on how to do it from the baker.
Well, she went to pick up the boys at school shortly after her trip to the farmer's market and still had her produce and bread. While John was showing his friend his new booster seat, Nicholas climbed to the front of the car and proceeded to start eating the bread. When John became aware of this, he also asked for a loaf. Needless to say, Maureen didn't get a chance to preserve her bread in the freezer. Oh well, the boys enjoyed a fine snack on their drive home.
