As if having one Trader Joe's down the street from us wasn't cool enough, now we have a brand new one about three quarters of a mile away. The boys really enjoy going to the new Trader Joe's because it is far more spacious and it has child sized shopping carts.
Today, we had to stop in to get some supplies of a fettunta that Maureen is going to make this evening for dinner. The boys insisted on each getting their own shopping carts. John was an old pro at it since he was used to the shopping carts at Ralph's, but our Nicholas needed a little more help and eventually abandoned the cart. That meant that I had to use the mini cart for the remaining time in the store.
As soon as we hit the store, John kept on asking to head over to the samples area. Last week, he enjoyed some yogurt and apple slices. This week, he had granola and yogurt. This was the first time he tried granola and he seemed to like it. Nicholas, of course, refused a sample. He was more concerned with picking up our "Garden Party Cookies".
